Committee to review dean of the College of Dental Medicine

As part of the university’s policy on the Review of Academic and Non-Academic Administrative Officers, Raymond Greenberg, M.D., Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs and provost, has appointed a committee to review the dean of the College of Dental Medicine, Richard DeChamplain, DMD.

The committee is being chaired by Becki Trickey, Ph.D., and is comprised of individuals from each of the university’s academic units. The purpose of the review is to provide a means for broad input into the evaluation process. As such, the committee will be surveying faculty and staff from the College of Dental Medicine as well as seeking input from students, alumni and other appropriate constituencies. Individual and group meetings with the committee will also be provided for faculty and administrative officers of the college.

The committee will conduct its business during the next few months, and a report will be forwarded to Greenberg early in 1999.

Individuals wishing to have input to the committee’s deliberations are encouraged to share them with one of the committee members: Trickey—Health Professions; Dr. Andrea White— Health Professions; Dr. Ann Hollerbach—Nursing; Dr. John Bosso—Pharmacy; Dr. John Maize—Medicine; and Dr. John Raymond - Graduate Studies.
