“A Life In Moods: Personal and Professional Reflections on Depression and Manic Depression” presented by Kay Jamison, Ph.D.

Dr. Kay Jamison is the executive producer and writer for a series of award-winning public television specials about manic depressive illness and the arts. Her book “An Unquiet Mind” was on the New York Times Best Seller list for more than four months. Join her as she discusses living with depression and manic depression and provides hope for a fulfilling life.

“Marital Relationships that Heal” presented by Jerry M. Lewis, M.D.

This Inga Taylor Memorial Lecture is presented each year to reflect the interest of Dr. Taylor, a psychiatrist on the faculty of MUSC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, whose life was shortened by cancer. Join Dr. Lewis as he presents both research and clinical information about marriages that succeed and discusses closeness and intimacy in marriages.
