Public Safety encourages individuals to stay alert

Recently there have been an increase in the number of thefts occurring on campus and in the hospital.

The Medical University Department of Public Safety requests that everyone secure their personal valuables while at work and/or school. If you notice any suspicious persons or activities, call the Medical University Department of Public Safety at 792-4196.

When you call, be prepared to answer as many of the following questions as possible: 1. What is your location? 2. What is the location of the suspicious person? 3. Has the person left the area and if so, how long ago and in which direction did they go? 4. Description of the person: clothing, approximate age, height, and weight.

  • There were two arrests for trespassing and one arrest for attempted strong arm robbery.
