Radiologic technologists worldwide will celebrate National Radiologic Technology Week, Nov. 8-14.

Sponsored by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), the celebration features various modalities which have evolved in the field of radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.

Other specialties recognized in the field include technologists working in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Bone Density, Mammography, Cardiovascular Technologists and Quality Assurance technologists who play a major role in improving patient care.

The Department of Radiology, Radiation Oncology and Cardiology is planning various activities to more than 115 technologists, radiologic nurses and related personnel.
