Distance education workshop to be held

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences will host the Distance Education Workshop titled “Teaching with Interactive Television and the Merging Technologies” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 17 and 18.

During this seminar, participants will learn how to design performance-based telelessons; how to think visually; present with impact; plan a telelesson that maximizes student-centered learning; how to modify courses for distance learning and how to involve students at remote field sites.

Registration fee is $350 and is due by June 30. Payment may be made with a check or an IIT made out to MUSC-Department of Rehab Sciences. For information regarding payment information, call Myra Gordan at 792-2926.
