Parking Management offers parking options

To provide adequate parking for MUSC patients and visitors, employees are prohibited from parking in patient/visitor parking facilities.

Employees may park in these facilities in two exceptions: When an employee is at MUSC as a patient or visitor; and when an employee responds to a medical emergency at night or on a weekend, the employee may park in patient/visitor facilities during the time of the emergency. Use of a department stamp to validate parking for an employee is authorized only when the employee is being seen as a patient.

Employees who violate these regulations may be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with policies as set forth in the MUSC HR policy manual.

Reserved space is currently available for employees in the MUSC parking lot at 150 Bee St.

Other parking options include a waiting list program for reserved parking locations, a free commuter parking program, an after-hours parking program for employees working evening and weekend shifts, and an after-hours program for employees who must occasionally return to campus after hours for routine matters and for medical emergencies.

Also available is a list of private renters in the campus neighborhood, which may provide employees with additional parking options.

The Office of Parking Management is located on the second floor of the employee parking garage at 91 President St. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For information on parking, call 792-3665.
