Shopping extravaganza slated for Oct. 15 - 17


Finish your holiday shopping early at the Junior League of Charleston Inc.’s annual Charleston Choices Gift Mart Oct. 15 - 17 at the Omar Shrine Temple (176 Patriots Point St., Mt. Pleasant).
 
Featuring specialty items from shops across the country, the Gift Mart offers a one-stop shopping place for all your holiday presents. The Gift Mart is open to the public and costs only $6 for a three-day admission ticket. The Gift Mart will be open: Friday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“My Summer Snapshot” Art Contest winners announced
Our 2nd Annual Art Contest has been promoted among Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester county elementary schools and is sponsored by Piggly Wiggly. Piggly Wiggly has donated two $500 savings bonds to be presented to our grand prize winners from two age divisions. First, second, and third places will also be recognized.
