CHP sponsors food drive

The five programs that make up the College of Health Professions competed for a cause by collecting canned food for the Lowcountry Food Bank. The food drive was sponsored by the college's Student Government Association

Finishing in first place with a donation of 335 cans from its 100 students was the Department of Health Administration and Policy (335 percent participation). The Communication Speech Disorder program participation totaled 270 percent with 73 cans collected from its 27 students. 

Thirty-five students from the Physician's Assistant program brought in 44 cans (126 percent participation). Medical Technology students brought in 13 cans from 33 students (39 percent participation). Occupational Therapy's participation totaled 34 percent with a contribution of 26 cans from its 76 students.
