have passenger shelter at Hagood lot
Wind, rain, sun—and dare we say snow?— won't be beating quite as hard on MUSC commuters now that the city has installed a passenger shelter at the Hagood lot on Fishburne Street. This is one of two recent upgrades in services which were stipulated by the Office of Parking Management in the recently renegotiated lease with the Charleston officials. The other upgrade was the paving of the central driveway several months ago. This provided a central pick-up and drop-off point for users of the parking lot. The Hagood commuter parking program is a free parking option for MUSC employees and students. There are three parking locations: the main lot on Fishburne Street near Johnson Hagood football stadium and the Riley ballpark; the Spring Street lot on Spring Street next to Howard Johnson's; and the Morrison Drive lot on Morrison Drive and Conroy Street.
