MUSC will mark National Safety Month with its first Safety Fair for hospital employees and staff from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, in the portico area of the Administration Building.

To promote safety awareness, representatives from manufacturers of safety devices and personal protective equipment will be present to provide information. Also included will be demonstrations provided by Public Safety, fire, biomedical and chemical safety.

Workmed Carolina will be on site to provide free tuberculosis skin tests to hospital employees. Prize drawings, including restaurant gift certificates, will be held for staff visiting the booths, and various food vendors will sell lunch.

The event is sponsored by the Occupational Safety and Health Programs, Products Evaluation, Safety, Security and Volunteers Services, and Infection Control.
