President's Office has internships available 

The President's Office has two internship openings for MUSC students: internship with special events coordinator and internship with assistant to the president for operations. 

The internship with special events coordinator position requires flexible hours as well as some evening work. 

Duties include light typing, answering phone, scheduling activities, opening and routing mail, photocopying, deliveries, drafting correspondence and receiving office visitors. This position also requires a driver's license. 

Duties for the internship with assistant to the president for operations position include facilitating effective day-to-day office operations through basic clerical services, light typing, telephone coverage, filing, mail opening and routing, photocopying, deliveries, drafting correspondence, assisting with special studies, staffing Board of Trustee meetings and receiving office visitors. A schedule of 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. five days per week is preferred. 

To be eligible, students must be able to work up to 20 hours per week
each week during the semester and be detail oriented. 

Students on academic probation are not eligible and priority and special consideration will always be given to the intern's academic work demands.
