TASS training seminar to be offered Nov. 1, 2 The Department of Human Resources Management will offer a  seminar entitled Team Approach to Superior Service (TASS) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Nov. 1, and 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 2, in room 103 Harborview Office Towers. The presenter, Ethel Lathen Rutledge, president, Transitions, specializes in training and organizational development.  Prior to her current position, Rutledge spent almost 10 years in an academic medical center environment. One of the main responsibilities of supervisors and managers is getting work done through people. This requires the ability to motivate, train, coach, delegate, manage performance, and provide positive and corrective feedback. The TASS can guide supervisors and managers into carrying out this responsibility within their respective work units.  The fee of $75 applies to MUSC, MUHA, UMA employees.
