Community forum on child sexual abuse issues slated for Oct. 13 A community forum on child sexual abuse issues and a healthy community response will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, at the Charleston Music Hall, 37 John Street.  Keynote speakers will be: Marilyn Van Derbur, child advocate and former Miss America; John Lee, author and leader in the fields of personal growth, relationships and recovery; and Tom Reed, Ph.D., associate professor of eduction, University of South Carolina, Spartanburg. From Darkness to Light is sponsored by the Center for Women; Lowcountry Children's Center, People Against Rape; From Darkness to Light; and Trident United Way. Space for the event is limited.
