Stine elected VP of Fauchard Academy 2000-2001 

Gordan B. Stine, DDS, was elected vice president of the Pierre Fauchard Academy for 2000-2001 at its annual meeting held in conjunction with the American Dental Association meeting in Chicago.

Stine is an advisor to the College of Dental Medicine and the S.C. Area Health Education Consortium. He recently finished a three-year term as a trustee of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He has been an active member since 1976, a former state president and regional section chairman.

He has been active in many religious, civic and professional organizations, including the United Way, Charleston Exchange Club, Community Pride of Charleston, Coastal Carolina Boy Scouts and Congregation Beth Elohim. He has served MUSC and the dental profession throughout his career as a practicing dentist and as an administrator. 

Stine has received many honors from his peers in the profession for his dedication to dentistry. Recently he received the Distinguished Faculty Service Award from MUSC, the College of Charleston Alumni Honors Award, Book of Golden Deeds Award from the MUSC Exchange Club, and the state PFA Service Award.
