Oacis Tip of the Week

Did you know that there are four different Location rosters available in Oacis?

Location rosters are used for pulling a census for an inpatient unit. If you work on the same unit every day, CCIT can set the Location, User Provider roster to automatically open your unit's census each day when you sign onto Oacis. You can have up to three units on your Location, User Provider roster but you must call or e-mail CCIT with the request; it is not something you can do yourself. If you work with pediatric patients, the Location with MRN is a good choice for it displays the patient's age, Attending, Service and Accommodation Code in the patient identifier column. To find out more about what each Location Roster does, open Learn Oacis icon an any ClinLAN95 desktop, go to the Main Menu and click on Working With and Customizing Rosters, then click on the System/Automated Rosters option

Watch The Catalyst weekly for the “Tip of the Week” regarding both ClinLAN95 and  Oacis. For more information on ClinLAN95, visit its website at <http://clinlan.musc.edu/>.
