Oacis Tip of the Week  Did you know that you can perform an easy troubleshooting technique that will fix most problems with application errors on ClinLAN95?    If you repeatedly get an error such as “this program has performed an illegal operation,” simply close the application then right click on the desktop icon. From the short cut menu that pops up with the right click, click on the Verify option. The Verify option will load a fresh version of the application from the server onto your ClinLAN95 workstation, overwriting any files that may have been corrupted. Depending on the application, you may need to restart your computer and log in again. Verifying the application is recommended before calling the Help Desk. The Verify option is available for Oacis and all other applications loaded via the network. Watch The Catalyst weekly for the “Tip of the Week” regarding both ClinLAN95 and  Oacis.
