Group therapy for Bulimia Nervosa to be offered

The MUSC Institute of Psychiatry Eating Disorders Program is offering a time-limited Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Group, co-led by Betsey Hodges, and Deborah Milling, M.D.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been shown to be the most effective treatment modality for Bulimia Nervosa.

The group therapy will consist of 10 sessions and will focus on stabilization of eating, identification of triggers, and restructuring of thoughts associated with the eating disorder.

The program start date will be announced when the group is formed. The group will be held on Monday evenings from 5 to 6:30 pm. For an appointment for evaluation, call Hodges at 792-0092 or Langdon Ellington at 876-5164.
