Summer program offers activities for children

MUSC Student Occupational Therapy Association, in partnership with the Association for the Blind, will hold a summer sensation activity program on July 10 and 17. 

The activities, held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will be swimming, arts and crafts, storytelling, music, games, snacks and more.

Summer Sensations is a program developed to provide children with vision impairments an opportunity to participate in physical, social, and sensory experiences to enhance the development of life skills and foster self confidence and independence through purposeful play.

The program, target for children ages 5 to 11, will be held at the Charleston County Library. For information, call the Association for the Blind at 723-6915.
