SUG to meet Sept. 20


The second meeting of the MUSC SAS Users Group (SUG) will be from noon to 1 p.m.  Sept. 20  at room 1225 Rutledge Tower.
 
The topic will be “Basic SAS Graphics.” Jo Wieters, site license coordinator, will be present at the meeting. 
 
The SAS PC Windows version 8.1 license will be available at the meeting for  $100. An IIT must be filled out before a license can be purchased.

SUG is a support and networking organization for the statistical analysis  system software. Its mission is to encourage collaboration among users. 
 
Additional meetings will be held at the above site every third Wednesday of odd numbered months. Executive meetings, open to all, will be held at noon in room 1219, Rutledge Tower on the third Wednesday of even numbered months. The Users Group sponsors a Web page at <http://www.musc.edu/sug>.
 
There is now an SAS Users Group discussion list “musc-sug.”  To subscribe to the list send an e-mail to majordomo@musc.edu with nothing in the subject  field and put in the body of the message, “subscribe musc-sug.” 
 
Recently, two new databases have been created, an SAS FAQ database and a SAS Alert database. Users are encouraged to go to the homepage and e-mail their FAQ's so the database can be populated. FAQ's can be submitted to sug-administration@musc.edu. These databases can be accessed and the FAQ's submitted from the MUSC SUG homepage <http://www.musc.edu/sug.
