Meet...Rosetta

Name: Rosetta Swinton.

Department: Utilization Management.

What would you describe as the most critical part of your job: Being able to work with our physicians to help meet criteria so that the hospital gets paid. 

What work experience has been most challenging: My six years experience as an intensive care nurse was a great challenge; it was very rewarding when a patient made it.

How long at MUSC: I just received my ten year pin.

Family: David, 14-year-old son.

Favorite TV channel: The Trinity Broadcast Network.

Favorite book: The Bible.

Favorite restaurant: California Dreaming. I love their Caesar salads.

Favorite dish to cook: Stuffed flounder.

Least favorite chore: Washing dishes.

Pet peeve: When people use the expression “you people...”

Church you belong to: Charity AME Church in Huger.

If you suddenly had a free day you would: Go fishing, shrimping or crabbing.

Something people don't know about you: I am going to the next international tele-health conference where I will be sharing our partnership model. We want to make sure everyone gets access to health care information.

Most treasured material possession: Family photos.

Accomplishment that has given you the most satisfaction: Being health director for health coordinators in 609 AME churches in the state.
