AREA award winners recognized Each quarter Ambulatory Care Services recognizes selected employees who demonstrate the organization's values of accountability, respect, excellence and adaptability (AREA). Staff members who have received an “Applause for Caring” card during the quarter are automatically eligible for the AREA award.  Third quarter AREA award recipients are: Dr. Colin Curran, Hematology/Oncology, Hollings Cancer Center; Cathey Kaelin, R.N., Pulmonary Clinical Care coordinator, Rutledge Tower; Terri Michi, R.N., Women's Service 30 Bee Street; Christine Wheeler, R.N., Adult Primary Care Center, McClennan-Banks. Each recipient received an AREA Award lapel pin, a framed certificate, a “Be My Guest” $50 dining card and a cake to share with his/her coworker.
