School: College of Medicine, third year.

Favorite food: Chicken Parmesan.

Favorite poem: The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

Favorite restaurant: The Boat House on Isle of Palms.

Pet peeve: Dishonesty.

Favorite movie this year: The Patriot.

Favorite musician: Jimmy Buffett.

Favorite place for a romantic date: A picnic on the beach at sunset.

What is your biggest challenge: Sitting down to study.

Accomplishment you are most proud of: I hold a swimming record at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Who is your inspiration: My grandparents. They are happy, healthy, and have loving hearts.

Dream vacation: Sailing around the world.

Describe a perfect day: Wake up early to duck hunt with my buddies. Take my limit. Eat a large breakfast and retire for a nap. Spend the day relaxing with my family. Roast marshmallows over a campfire at night.

Something people don’t know about you: I can be goofy when you get to know me.

Most treasured material possession: My flip-flops.

Plans for the future: I'm not sure...I take it one day at a time.
