Human Resources Department to hold seminar on FMLA

Who is protected by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) federal law? How does an employee qualify for protection under the act? What are the obligations of managers/supervisors and employees? Does leave granted under FMLA run concurrently with existing leave programs such as sick/annual/holiday leave, workers’ compensation, etc.? 

The answers to these questions and other details about FMLA will be discussed from 9 a.m. to noon, April 18 in room 803, Harborview Office Tower. The presenter will be J. Brandenburg.
