Favorite chore: Gardening.

Favorite plant to grow: Flowers, actually, roses.

Favorite dish to cook: Gumbo.

Childhood nickname: Sunshine.

What do you find most rewarding about your job? Interaction with people.

Accomplishment you are most proud of: Being an excellent nurse—orthopaedics.

Person you most admire: A nurse that I once worked with; she was focused but still interacted with everyone around her, patients, co-workers…

Which flower best describes your personality? One that looks up to the sun, probably a sunflower.

Hobbies, activities in your free time: Tennis, sewing and sketching.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do? I would read a book from cover to cover!

Most treasured material possession: A unique African piece made of wood and ceramic that represents an expectant mother. It's on my mantelpiece.
