Electrical supply upgrade to affect some service

On Sunday June 24, several large systems and services for a number of departments will be affected by an electrical supply upgrade from 1-3 a.m. In addition, some services will be affected from midnight to 4 a.m. to allow time for bringing the systems down and then bringing them back up after the outage.

The following systems are affected:
Oacis: The Oacis database will be inaccessible and unavailable from 1-3 a.m.

Subsystems affected include: Clinical Display (via ClinLAN and WebApps), Census Management, and Order Management.  Also, interfaces from ancillary systems (i.e.. Keane Registration, Cerner LAB, IDX Radiology) to Oacis will not be functional.

Homeroom user directories, MSMeds, IDXrad, Surgiserve, Ansos, Medilinks, CentraMax, and ESI will be inaccessible and unavailable from 1-3 a.m.

ClinLAN itself (including WebApps) and GroupWise E-mail will be inaccessible and unavailable from midnight to 4 a.m.

Also affected by the power supply upgrade are the following systems that are not expected  to come back online until 7 a.m. Monday, June 25: Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Bursar, Student Accounting, Facilities Management, Parking Management, Procurement, HR, Communications, RiskManagement, and Student Health Services.

Finally, Internet connectivity from campus and via PPP may also be unavailable during the outage.
