Meet...Peggy

Name: Peggy Wiggins.

Department: Grounds.

Family: Two sons: Bradley, 17, and Kenneth, 15.

Favorite book: Stephen King's books: the one I remember most clearly is “Misery.”

Favorite food: Lasagna.

Favorite restaurant: Fonduely Yours.

Pet peeve: Someone watching me work - standing over me.

Easiest plant to grow: Coleus. You can even pick a leaf and get it to root.

What is your biggest challenge? Trying to get it all done.

Funniest thing you have seen on the job: “What are you and Daniel up to this time?” Dr. Edwards used to say. We often have to be creative in how we go about getting some trimming done.

Personality trait you admire in others: Friendly people that are open to talk to.

Which plant or flower best describes your personality? The passion flower: it looks up to the sun all day and closes up at night, that's me!

What do you find most relaxes you? Playing games on the computer.

Hobbies, activities in your free time: I like to read, garden and cook out with friends.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do? I would love to get a chance to go rafting down the Edisto again.

Most treasured material possession: A collection of baseball cards that I've had for years.

Favorite words: I find that I am always “a day late and a dollar short!”
