Department: Marketing Services.

Family: Husband, Brian, 5-month-old daughter, Morgan, 3 dogs, Brodie, Brindle, Abby and one cat, Buzzy.

Favorite TV program: Seventh Heaven and Law and Order.

Favorite book: The All Creatures Great and Small series by James Herriot.

Favorite food: Seafood.

Favorite restaurant: Carolina’s.

Favorite chore: Mowing the lawn.

Least favorite chore: Vacuuming pet hairs.

Favorite ingredient: Pepper.

Favorite movie: When Harry met Sally and Babe.

Pet peeve: Cruelty to animals.

What do you find most rewarding about your job? The opportunity to work with so many different people at MUSC and in the community.

Organizations you belong to: The John Ancrum SPCA and East Cooper Baptist Church. I am also the spokesperson for the American Heart Association.

Most eventful day you have witnessed at MUSC: The grand opening of Rutledge Tower. We screened more than 1,600 people in one day, had all 10 floors open for visitors. It became eventful when the air conditioner on the third floor broke and the elevators stopped working. It was wonderful to see men in suits and ties helping to clean out the construction elevator to deal with this emergency.

Personality trait you admire in others: People with a positive outlook.

Which plant or flower best describes your personality? A zinnia or a hydrangea.

If you suddenly had a long weekend, what would you do? Spend time with my family, take Morgan and the dogs to the family mountain house.
