MUSC to help support ‘South Carolina Cares’Gov. Jim Hodges understands that many state employees and citizens of South Carolina would like to do something of value to help the victims of the Sept. 11 tragedy.He announced the creation of South Carolina Cares a fund which will allow all South Carolinians to express their horror, sadness, and concern over the recent disaster suffered by this country and our fellow Americans. South Carolina Cares is being coordinated through the governor’s office in cooperation with the American Red Cross. The MUSC community’s effort is being handled by the chairperson of the Service Committee, SGA treasurer, Rebecca Gregg. Checks should be made out to South Carolina Cares. Bring your check or donation to the following three collection sites:
