Cardiac Imaging, Sound provides service to MUSC

Curtis Inabinett Jr. is a man whose many interests make him a prime example of a modern day Renaissance man.

But his main role is operating his company, Cardiac Imaging and Sound  which has been in existence since 1991.

Inabinett provides echocardiogra-phy services to MUSC in conjunction with the cardiology outreach program which are headed by Grady Hendrix, M.D., and Bruce Usher, M.D., of the Adult Cardiology Department.

After soon discovering that, at the time, no schools in South Carolina offered a program in echocardiography technology, Inabinett enrolled at the Arizona Heart Institute of Cardiovascular Technology. In 1989, he was Certified as an Echocardiography Technologist.

After working at a free standing cardiology clinic in Amarillo, Texas performing echocardiograms and assisting in outpatient heart catheterizations, Inabinett returned to Charleston and began working for Heart Care Inc., which later became his company, Cardiac Imaging and Sound.

As he continues to juggle his many interests, which also includes music and politics, Inabinett reflects on his life and what the future may hold for him.
“My life is full,” he says. “When I see an opportunity, I don’t sit and let it fly by.
