Meet...Kristi

Name: Kristina Lynn Avery Rodgers.

Department: Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (PACE and Testing).

How long at MUSC: 8 years.

Favorite TV show: Everybody Loves Raymond; The Pretender.

Favorite room in house: None. I like my yard.

Least favorite chore: Cleaning anything in the house.

Item you must have in your refrigerator: Puppy food and snacks, puppy shots, and milk (for me).

Special place in the world: The old Army Depot off Virginia Avenue where I lived for six years as a child.

Fondest childhood memory: Getting my first shotgun for Christmas at age 6.

Pet peeve: Run-down shacks with fancy cars in the driveway.

Bad habit: Inability to sell the puppies that my collie had because I become so attached.

Biggest challenge: Maintaining dignity when the Krispy Kreme ‘Hot Donut’ sign is lit.

Perfect vacation: Running my dogs (my children) in Montana or going to Switzerland.

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, what would you be: A veterinarian.

Something people don’t know about me: I used to be a police officer, and was briefly the lead singer in a heavy metal band.
