Name: Laura Anne Pawlow.

Department: First-year post-doctoral fellow at MUSC’s Weight Management Center.
 
Family: Husband, Jeff, and Rex, the wonder dog.

Favorite TV show: The Osbournes.

Favorite reading: Memoirs of a Geisha.

Favorite room in your house: Bedroom.

Favorite music: Elton John’s Greatest Hits.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Fat free cool whip. 

Least favorite chore: Dusting.

Bad habit: Not rinsing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Person you admire the most: My dad—he always does the right thing.

What do you do in your free time: Shop!

Biggest challenge: Getting ready to open the WMC’s new Mount Pleasant FOCUS program.

One thing that you like about yourself: I’m fun.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, what would you be: An astronaut. I’d like to go into outer space.

Most rewarding thing about work: Watching our patients achieve their goals.

Something people don’t know about you: I gave up my spot on the St. Louis Rams cheerleading squad to go to graduate school.
