Family: Husband, David; daughters, Kristen, 12, and Lauren, 8.

Favorite TV shows: Soul Food, ER, Girlfriends, NBA Basketball.

Favorite room in your house: Family room.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Margarine and cheese.

What do you like most about Charleston: The hot weather and the beaches.

Least favorite chore: Doing laundry.

Fondest childhood memory: Going to church and Sunday school every Sunday.

Bad habit: I’m very moody and tend to be too opinionated sometimes.

Pet peeve: People who are superficial.

Plans for the future: Putting my girls through college, then retiring to a tropical island with my husband.

Person you admire the most: My grandmother for her inner strength and wisdom.

Biggest challenge: Raising my daughters to be successful and respectful adults.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would it be: Any female movie star with a huge bank account.

Most rewarding thing about your job: The respect and appreciation I receive from the people I work with, especially my boss. It makes you feel good when someone compliments you on a job well done.
