Family: Wife, Layzette; daughters, Kayla, 11, and Paisley, 4.

Favorite TV show: Discovery Channel.

Favorite book: Reading the newspaper and comics and doing the crossword puzzles.

Favorite room in your house: Kitchen, I love cooking!

Favorite song: A gospel song called, Anything Is Possible, by Youth Edition.

Ingredient you must have in your kitchen: Rice.

What do you like the most about Charleston? The weather and the friendly people.

Least favorite chore: Dusting.

Fondest childhood memory: Singing in church.

Bad habit: Sleeping too hard.

Pet peeve: Smokers.

Person you admire most: My mother.

Biggest challenge: To keep things running smoothly at work.

Your idea of the perfect vacation: Going to Hawaii and swimming in the ocean.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would you be? No one, everyone has their own set of problems.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Seeing the smiles on the kid's faces in the Pediatrics Department.

Guests at a fantasy dinner: To have dinner with my father and be able to talk with him, man to man.
