Two members elected to MUSC Board of Trustees

Charles W. Schulze of Greenwood has been elected to the Board of Trustees of MUSC and attended its first meeting on April 12.

A certified public accountant Schulze is a senior partner in Elliott Davis, LLC, a regional accounting and consulting firm. He will serve on the MUSC board until 2004, filling the unexpired term of the late Hon. Fred T. Moore.

He was named among the 100 Most Influential Citizens of Western South Carolina in the 20th Century, and served as the South Carolina Economic Development Ambassador for 2002.

William H. Bingham Sr. of Cayce has been elected to the Board of Trustees of MUSC and attended its first meeting on April 12.

A licensed professional engineer, Bingham is president and owner of Hercules Contractors and Engineers, Inc. of Cayce. He will serve on the MUSC board until 2004, filling the unexpired term of H. Donald McElveen, who resigned from the board.

Bingham served on the State Private Industry Council of South Carolina and received the Contractor of the Year Award for 2000. 

An officer of the Cayce-West Columbia Lions Club, Bingham is a member of the West-Metro Chamber of Commerce.
