Meet...Sandy Name: Sandy Nelson. Department: Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. How long at MUSC: 24 years. Family: Husband, John (everyone calls Igor). Two children—Jason, and Melissa. One grandson, Mark, 16-months-old. Favorite TV show: Six Feet Under. Favorite song/music: Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. Ingredient you must have in your home/office: Coffee. Pet peeve: S-L-O-W people. Hobbies, activities in your free time: Piano, cross-stitch, crochet, guitar,  and rollerblading. How do you stay fit: Lots of walking. Your idea of a perfect vacation: A week in the North Carolina mountains with my husband. If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would you be: I would be Osama Bin Laden. I’d spend 90 percent of the day undermining all Taliban activity, and then I’d spend the remaining time turning myself in to the American authorities.
