MUSC to sell its own books this fall

Effective the fall semester, the College of Charleston Bookstore will cease carrying MUSC textbooks and materials.

MUSC will instead establish an on- campus bookstore to be located in room 108, Harper Student Center. The Procurement Department and the director of business services are in the process of receiving and evaluating bids to contract with a college bookstore vendor to operate the MUSC bookstore.

The vendor selection process is expected to be completed and operations to commence by July 10.

Effective immediately, the Office of the Director of Business Services will begin receiving Text Adoptions for the fall term for delivery to the winning vendor at the closing of the contract. Faculty and text coordinators can continue to use the text adoption form which was being sent to the C of C Bookstore, just forward it by the following means: fax—792-7735 or intercampus mail—Director of Business Services, 19 Hagood Avenue, Suite 706, P.O. Box 250815. Personal drop-off can be made in suite 706, Harborview Tower.
