Name: Diane Leyh.

Department: Marketing—Physician Referral Call Center.

How long at MUSC: 4 ½ years.

City you were born: Oak Park, Ill.

Family, pets: Son, Justin, 23, and daughter Kristen, 17. Golden Retriever, Wrigley; Chihuanua, Maximus, and two cats, Luna and G.U.S. (Gender Under Suspicion).

Favorite room in your house: Family room.

Favorite song/music: Contemporary Christian music, classical, and the blues.

What do you like the most about Charleston: Its history, the people and the beaches.

Fond childhood memory: My father flying all four children and my mom to Mooney, Texas to see my grandparents.

Bad habit: Frostys from Wendy’s.

Pet peeve: People who lie.

Plans for the future: To own a small country.

Mentor/person you admire the most: My dad, nothing shakes him.

Hobbies: I have an embroidery business and I enjoy painting.

How do you stay fit: Gazelle exercise bike and walking (to the fridge).

Dream vacation: The hammock on my back porch and a good book.

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would you be? Me.

Memorable or latest trip: I went on a picture taking safari to Kenya when I flew for the airlines.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Seeing that the people calling Health Connection are helped.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Faith, family and furry friends.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Sleep in and take the dogs to the beach.
