Name: Jeni Bowers.

Department: Psychiatry.

How long at MUSC: 3 years.

Family: Fiancée, Jeff, to be married in April. Dog, Oliver, Bischon-Frishe.

Favorite room in the house: My ladies sitting room; it's just for me.

Favorite song: Cotton Eye Joe by Nina Simone.
 
Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Red peppers.

Least favorite chore: Doing laundry. I'm trying to get my fiancée to take it over.

Fondest childhood memory: Shrimping with my grandfather.

Bad habit: Not being on time.

Pet peeve: Tackiness.

Plans for the future: Get married.

Hobbies/activities you do in your free time: Make soap and dried flower arrangements.

How do you stay fit: Not very well. Sometimes I do water aerobics at the Wellness Center.

Your idea of a perfect vacation: Anything that involves nature, relaxation and adventure.

If you could trade places with someone for a day who would you be: Julia Roberts.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Seeing people change.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Family, good food and good conversation.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Go to the spa.

Something that people don’t know about you: I am blind in my left eye.

Historical event you would have liked to have witnessed: Landing on the moon.

Something that you do that is silly but really fun: Dance with my dog.
