Meet...Turbo

Name: Turbo (an English Mastiff).

Department: Volunteer Services.

Age: 6-years-old.

How long at MUSC: Five years.

Best friends: French bulldogs, Busy and Dezzy. They accompany me to MUSC every Wednesday and we visit the patients and staff. On days that it's too hot for me, they get to come by themselves and get all the attention. 

Favorite TV show: Animal Planet.

Favorite book: Pet Massage Therapy.

Favorite song: Who Let the Dogs Out by Baha Men.

Least favorite chore: Going out in the rain.

Favorite childhood memory: When the patients in the children’s hospital let me watch cartoons with them.

Bad habit: Snoring.

How do you stay fit: Chasing nurses around the hospital.

Biggest challenge: Stairs.

Two things that mean a lot to you: Making children smile and laugh.

Something that people don’t know about you: I can’t visit MUSC if it is hotter than 90 degrees outside.

Activities in your free time: Licking patients’ faces and feet. I love to give kisses.

Dog you admire the most: My mom.

Words of advice or favorite quote: I have never met a stranger.

Favorite room in the house: Kitchen.

Favorite food: Macaroni and cheese.

Favorite place to sleep: In the bathtub.

If you had a free day, what would you do:Sit on the porch and watch the world go by.

Favorite hobby: I love to eat shampoo bottles.
