Job profile added to HRM online application system

MUSC University Human Resources has added a new feature to its online application system. Look no further…Job Interest Profile is here.

Candidates are able to create a profile in the applicant system. The profile captures information about the educa-tion, areas of interest, and skills possessed. Applicants are also asked to provide an e-mail address.  The profile is an optional feature offered to candidates.

Hiring managers with difficult-to-fill positions may request that a skills search be performed and candidates notified of available opportunities. This is done by contacting your employment consultant.

When a skills search is performed by Human Resources Management, the candidate is notified via e-mail that there are positions posted that meet his/her skills profile. The candidate is encour-aged to apply for vacancies.

The skills profile does not substitute the application process, nor is it a selection tool. The profile offers applicants and hiring managers the opportunity to diversify the search for qualified candidates.

Applicants may access the profile feature at http://www.jobs.musc.edu.
