Meet...Karen

Name: Karen Ehmann.

Department: Medicine/Endocrinology.

How long at MUSC: 4 years.

Family: Two dogs, Sparky and Charlie, both Boston terriers.

Favorite TV show: Law & Order (My boyfriend thinks I should have earned an honorary law degree by now.)

Favorite room in your house: Kitchen...it's the room with food.

Favorite musician: I admit I'm a Barry Manilow fan.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Turkey bacon.

Biggest challenge: Increasing division operations and fiscal strength within a pre-determined annual budget.

Your idea of a perfect vacation: I'm taking it in November...Hawaii with my best friend, Lisa, and my boyfriend, Chris.  (Poor Chris!)

If you could trade places with someone for a day, who would you be: Queen Elizabeth II (I'd get those kids in shape while wearing a crown!)

Guests at a fantasy dinner: My family, Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, the Pope, and Robin Williams for comic relief.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Honor, humor and humility.

Something people don't know about you: Volunteered in a Vietnamese Refugee Camp in Hong Kong.
