Name: Bonnie Boyce.

Department: Hollings Cancer Center.

City you were born: Youngstown, Ohio.

Family: Husband, Bill; Phillip, 9, Erin, 6, and Eric Sean, 5.

Favorite TV show: Six Feet Under (HBO).

Favorite reading: Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey.

Favorite Web site: Right now it's http://www.tourofhope.org.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Olives and cottage cheese.

Fondest childhood memory: Mornings with my grandfather drinking tea with milk, eating bread with butter.

Pet peeve: People who give unsolicited advice or push their beliefs onto others.

Person you admire the most: Hematology/Oncology's Dr. Robert Stuart. I admire his commitment to an ideal: his participation in the Tour of Hope to create awareness of the importance of cancer research and clinical trials.

Who is your mentor: HCC's Coleen Corish—the way she helps people build on their strengths.

Three personal goals: Touching people’s lives in a positive way, spreading laughter around and being a good example to my children.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Take a nap.
