Favorite room in the house: The kitchen. I love to cook.
Fondest childhood memory: Summer vacations in Litchfield—every year with family and friends.
Pet peeve: Rude or abrasive people.
Most rewarding thing about your job: Most of the people who make a gift to MUSC do so for deeply personal reasons. I enjoy working with those people to match their philanthropic interests with the work taking place at MUSC.
Dream vacation: A three-week trip to Greece.
Something people don't know about you: In college, I minored in Spanish and attended the Universidad de Madrid.
Best advice you've ever received and who gave
it to you: “Always act and look your best—someone may ask you who you are.”
And “Under-promise and over-deliver,” Davis Walker, my dad.
