Annual clothing collection for homeless to be held April 23

Planning to rid your closets of unwanted clothing this spring? How about recycling used clothing for others to use!

MUSC employees and students are invited to donate a bag of clean and wearable clothing to Charleston's homeless on Friday, April 23.

During this one-day event, you may donate any clothing for any season, any size...and don't forget shoes! Small household items such as toasters and microwaves are also accepted.

The Salvation Army will assist in distributing the needed clothing among Charleston's homeless population.

The Salvation Army truck will be parked in the Harper Student Center's Lower Lobby from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. to collect your donation.

For information, call the MUSC Gives Back office at 792-4094.
