Name: Ricardo Alberto Moreno.

Department: Cell Biology and Anatomy.

How long at MUSC: 6 years.

City you were born: Oaxaca, Mexico.

Family: Wife, Leticia Reyes, and son, Aldo.

Favorite television show: Andromeda.

Dream vacation: I would go to Mars.

Fondest childhood memory: Listening to a radio show called Kaliman, about a hero.

Bad habit: I have so many that I'll have to choose the fact that I speak too fast.

Your biggest challenge at work: Understanding how the heart is built and how it is regulated.

Three things that mean a lot to you: Freedom, wisdom and respect.

Words you live by: I'd change everything that I can, accept the things I cannot change and hope I have the wisdom to distinguish between both.

Best advice you have ever received: To persevere.

The most interesting job you have ever had: I love being a scientist because science is like play.

If you were told this was your last day, what would you do: Nothing special. I live every day as it were my last because everybody will have that last day.
