Name: Terri Ellis.

Department: Accreditation Programs.

How long at MUSC: 3 years. I was at Charleston Memorial for 26 years before that. 

City in which you were born: Columbia.

Family: Husband of 28 years, Russ; sons Jonathan, 21, and Corey, 18.

Favorite TV show: CSI.

Least favorite chore: Emptying the dishwasher.

What do you do in your free time: I go to my sons' baseball games.

What is your biggest personal challenge: Raising boys.

What is your biggest challenge at work: Making sure that new JCAHO standards are communicated.

Most rewarding thing about your job: Dealing with a variety of individuals.

Proudest moment: When Jonathan was selected in the 2004 Major League draft. He'll be playing in Eugene, Ore.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Visit with family or friends.

Something you tried once and will never do again: Ride the roller coaster at Disney World.

Personal motto: Always treat people as you would like to be treated.
