Family: Husband, Darin; daughters, Morgan, 6, and Abby, 3.

Favorite reading: I like to read fiction set in the Lowcountry. 

Favorite room in your house: My bedroom. I’m always wishing I had more time to sleep. 

Favorite Web site: I almost have to say MUSChealth.com—don’t I? 

Least favorite chore: Cleaning the bathroom.

Ingredient you must have in your refrigerator: Chocolate and beer.

Fondest childhood memory: Boating on the rivers around Beaufort with my family. 

Bad habit: Worrying too much and over-analyzing things.

Pet peeve: People who aren’t accountable for their actions.

People you admire the most: My parents and grandparents. 

Your idea of a perfect vacation: I am hoping to take my family to visit my aunt in Peru. I really want to see Machu Picchu.

Most rewarding thing about your job: I enjoy getting to work with so many different people with different skills and backgrounds.

If you suddenly had a free day, what would you do: Go to the beach by myself.
