How long at MUSC: Three years.

City in which you were born: Taunton, Mass.

Favorite TV show: Nip/Tuck. A show about plastic surgery practice.

Favorite type of music: Disco, 80s, and Gospel.

Special place in the world: Plymouth, Mass. Lots of family and lots of history.

Fondest childhood memory: Summers in Cape Cod, where the only pressing items on the agenda were sailing and beach parties.

Pet peeve: Bad dispositions.

Hobbies, activities in your free time: Interior design and decorating.

Your idea of a perfect vacation: Florida beaches and Disney.

Most rewarding thing about your job: The privilege of providing services to and interacting with some of the country's finest medical  professionals and researchers.

Guests at fantasy dinner: Hillary and Bill Clinton, Jackie and John Kennedy.

Personality trait you admire in others: Optimism and perseverance.

Words of advice: My professional mantra for years has been: if you  are going to do something, give it everything you have!
