Name: Gwendolyn Lowe.

Department: UMA Customer Service.

How long at MUSC: More than seven years.

City you were born: New York City, N.Y.

Family: Daughters, Charlene and Tina, and son, John III. I also have a grandson, Obi.

Favorite room in your house: The living room because it's the center of family visits.

Activities in your free time: Scrap booking, reading, shopping and talking on the phone.

Fondest childhood memory: Family trips to Willow Grove to ride the ferris wheel.

Talents: Writing poetry, dancing and singing.

Most rewarding thing about your job: The opportunity it gives me to continue learning. Right now, I am being trained to use the new IDX system.

Biggest Challenge: Working full-time while completing my studies at Trident Technical College.
