Who do you call?

Employees and students can receive emergency storm information by dialing  792–MUSC (6872) or if a computer is accessible, press the red button on the MUSC home page and you will be directed to the emergency information page.

For Medical Center employees, if a full weather emergency is declared, and the green card system is activated, employees can receive information specific to their work areas by dialing 792-1414 or 1-800-424-6872 and pressing “2” and your department’s four-digit code. If you do not know your four-digit code, contact your supervisor.

Medical Center managers will also be provided information through the paging system (beepers) as needed. For the Medical Center, if a full emergency/disaster plan is not necessary, Saturday and Sunday day and night shifts may still be affected. Staff should be prepared to come in early and stay over if necessary.

Staff can also look at the Medical Center intranet for more details.
